This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Kenosha Housing Authority (KHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted for one day only on July 24, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Income Qualification

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $34,250 | 5 Persons $52,850
• 2 Persons $39,150 | 6 Persons $56,750
• 3 Persons $44,050 | 7 Person $60,650
• 4 Persons $48,900 | 8 Persons $64,550

Preferences

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Applicants that live, work or attend school in Kenosha County.
• Disabled, elderly, or who have minor children in the household.

Selection Process

1,500 to 2,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.

Application Method

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
